About the Role

As a Senior BackendEngineer at Neocom, you'll work on the core of Neocom, our conversation & recommendation engine, which is used by hundred-thousands of users each month.

Our Stack:

• Python is our main language (we use Django).
• Go is used for high throughput services.
• We deploy via Docker containers.
• We offer parts of our API via REST and parts via GraphQL.
• We use Postgres for Master Data and Clickhouse for data intensive queries.

Your Profile:

• 6+ years professional working experience.
• Experience developing web-applications with Python (we use Django & some Go).
• Excellent technical understanding of web technologies, REST services and GraphQL.
• Serious about code quality, automated software tests and automated deployments.
• Proficiency in English and excellent communication skills.
• A quick mind, pragmatic and a passion for solving tricky problems.
• Eager to thrive in a highly professional environment, move quickly and take ownership of your work.
